Greetings 6099 members. We are looking for people who would like to volunteer for building representatives. Building reps would help facilitate communication between the union leadership and the members. Members who are having issues would report the problem to a building rep first. The building rep would then push the information up through the chain of command. Please consider volunteering to be a union rep in your building.
The time has come to send a message to the Governor of Illinois; NO EDUCATION CUTS! Below is a link to contact the Governor’s office via phone, email, or snail mail. I already sent him a message telling him that if his budget cuts to education translate into job cuts in our district, then I will do my best come November to return the favor.
